Bitget announces strong growth for Q3 2024! Consolidate its position as the 4th largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world
The world's leading cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company Bitget have released their Q3 2024 transparency report, showcasing significant progress in user growth, token listings, and strategic initiatives. Exceeding 45 million users, strengthening market position
In the third quarter of 2024, Bitget achieved a milestone of over 45 million registered users worldwide, becoming the fourth largest cryptocurrency exchange in terms of trading volume. The platform's user base has increased by 400% compared to last year, thanks to the launch of innovative products and expansion into emerging regions such as Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. The company's focus on accessibility and user centered design is consistent with its mission to achieve financial freedom.
Expand token listing and staking opportunities
Bitget added 72 new token listings in the third quarter, bringing the total to over 800 tokens and over 900 pairs of spot trading pairs. Among them, POL, DRIFT, WUSD, REEF, and MOTHER are the tokens with the fastest growth in total lock up volume (TVL). In addition, Bitget's pre-market trading platform continues to attract early traders. In the third quarter, 12 tokens including CATI, MOCA, HMSTR, DOGS, and ZKL were launched, attracting a total of 53800 traders and accumulating a trading volume of $23 million.
Since its launch in April, the Bitget PoolX staking platform has become a popular choice for users, offering high-yield staking options. In the third quarter, the number of participants on the PoolX platform exceeded 94805, and the total pledge amount doubled compared to the second quarter, reaching $2.3 billion. Popular staking pools include BGB, BTC, ETH, and USDT, providing users with new ways to earn profits.
Investment in TON ecosystem and strategic investment
As part of a joint investment of $30 million with Foresight Ventures to support The Open Network (TON) ecosystem, Bitcoin actively promotes Telegram based project expansion, including DOGS, Hamster Kombat, and Notch. With nearly 1 billion Telegram users worldwide, the TON ecosystem is growing exponentially, making Bitget a key entry point for users to explore TON related projects and decentralized applications.
Strategic cooperation with La Liga to promote the popularity of Web3
Bitget has reached a multi million dollar partnership with La Liga, further expanding its influence in the sports industry. This collaboration aims to enhance cryptocurrency awareness and promote Web3 in Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and Latin America, leveraging the vast global audience of La Liga to attract a new wave of cryptocurrency enthusiasts. This collaboration aligns with Bitget's mission of introducing memory blockchain technology to mainstream audiences.
Strengthening token mining through collaboration with Nansen
Bitget collaborates with Nansen to improve its token mining strategy. Through on chain data and community insights, Bitget provides traders with advanced tools for identifying potential tokens. Combining Nansen's analysis tools, Bitget has added 240 new tokens since April, becoming one of the main exchanges active in early token listings.
